The Institute partners with a wide variety of community organizations, local governments, and education institutions to build authentic partnerships between campus and community.

Each year University of Mississippi students contribute nearly a half million hours of volunteer time, adding services valued at $10 million to the Mississippi economy.

The McLean Institute has supported service-learning courses since 2012, impacting communities from Oxford to Togo.

More than 100 students each year work in counties across Mississippi through programs and initiatives supported by the McLean Institute.
